I wrote you 3 months ago after i saw your speech and become vegan. i want to thank you again. your speech has a big effect in israel. me and my brother and 2 of my friends become vegan. yesterday one friend told me that the husband of her sister went vegan too. another friend recently switched to soy milk and cut down on some of the meat he eats. my father has started to eat less meat and feel better and i noticed that all the people around me have become more aware of what they’re eating.

I live in israel and am 20 years old. I was listening to a song on youtube and came across one of your speeches. I was a vegetarian when I was younger but when I joined the army it was hard for me to be picky about the food i eat. I don’t wish to give you excuses for eating meat . I just wish to tell you that your speech made me feel ashamed and a fool for letting go of my principles. I want to thank you for waking me up.

My friend urged me to see your talk. While watching, I started to understand that I was doing something wrong for a long time, and I can sincerely say I learned a lot about myself, my friends and my family. I have empathy for the animals and will keep a vegan diet because of that reason.

I am 60 years old. 4 months ago I saw your speech on the Internet and I immediately knew that my life was going to change. I am much more happy today, and feel better with myself. hope that some day people will stop eating animals and all the products that we produce from them. thank you for opening my eyes after so many years.

I think what you’re doing is fucking awesome and I’m doing my best to become a vegan. There’s really no reason not to. My body isn’t a fucking graveyard. Sorry for the language, I’m just pissed that I didn’t know about this until today.

A friend of mine just turned vegan and I didn’t really understand why. Some of my friends were laughing at him and asking, “Oh is it because of that video everyone is watching?” Tonight I saw your lecture. I was stunned. Your speech made me laugh and cry and I almost vomited when I saw the slaughterhouse videos. I want to thank you for opening my eyes for a different way of thinking. I love animals but mostly I love justice, and I can’t let myself be a part of something that is so unjustified.

I’m 15 years old from Israel. I wanted to tell you that you have given me a great inspiration. After watching your lecture I became vegan. Before that I was a vegetarian, I thought that being a vegetarian is enough and there was no need to give up milk, eggs and honey. After your lecture I realized that I was wrong. I asked my teacher to show your lecture to the students. You made a big change in my life.
